Indian cricket team batter Shreyas Iyer was discharged from the hospital in Sydney as he continues to recover from the injury sustained during the third ODI against Australia. Shreyas sustained a blunt injury to his abdomen resulting in a laceration of his spleen with internal bleeding while taking a catch during the encounter at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He was taken to the hospital where his injury was identified and the doctors were able to stop the bleeding following a minor procedure, according to the BCCI.
